Mosaic Memorial

A close-up mosaic memorial portrait of your pet — leaves and flowers framing the face, a name banner, side text with dates, a heart-and-paw emblem, and an epitaph.

At a glance

Everything you need to know

The source mosaic, exactly

A Border Collie with striking black and white fur and warm brown eyes, head slightly tilted, built from small irregular tesserae — framed by green leaves and white and light blue flowers, with a CHARLIE banner, FOREVER LOVED side text, 2012-2025 dates, a heart-and-paw emblem, and an epitaph on a light blue radiating halo.

Bring your pet with a photo

Flip the subject source to Reference Photo and upload a picture — the mosaic reproduces their likeness, markings, and colouring, with optional extra notes (one floppy ear, a white-tipped tail). Or describe them from scratch with subject and coat chips.

Four verbatim text slots

The name banner (CHARLIE and nine one-tap names), the side heading (FOREVER LOVED and eight more), the dates line (2012-2025), and a closing epitaph (Beloved companion, forever in our hearts. and six more) — every slot quoted verbatim, every slot optional. Lettering is tile-built into the mosaic by default; one toggle switches it to clean overlay type.

A heart full of options

The emblem below the side text defaults to a white heart outline with a paw print inside — swap in a haloed heart, a winged heart, a solid inlaid heart, a lone paw print, or none at all.

How it works

Six steps to a mosaic

Art style & tesserae

The mosaic medium, then the size and shape of the pieces — small and irregular by default.

2

Subject

Reference photo or description, coat & features, expression, head pose, and framing.

3

Tribute text

Text finish (tile-built or clean overlay), the name banner and its font, side heading, dates, heart emblem, and epitaph.

4

Frame & background

What surrounds the face, and the mosaic field behind it.

5

Lighting & mood

Soft and diffused by default — or golden hour, candlelit, or cool morning light.

6

Palette & size

Eight palettes and the portrait aspect ratio (3:4 by default).

Tips & tricks

All four text slots are quoted verbatim — the prompt tells the model exactly what each one says. Lettering defaults to Mosaic tiles, with each letterform assembled from tesserae in grout; pick Clean overlay for smooth printed type. Empty any slot (or pick None on the heart emblem) to leave it off the mosaic entirely.

A clear, front-facing photo gives the best mosaic likeness. Add extra notes for markings the photo might hide, like a white-tipped tail.

After generating, try Age the Grout for a weathered garden-plaque feel, or On a Garden Wall to see the mosaic installed.
