Film Strip

A minimalist vector film strip — up to 5 of your photos fitted into the frames, sprocket holes and all. Free by default.

At a glance

Everything you need to know

5 photo frames

Upload into Frame 1–5 — each photo is cover-cropped into its square exactly as uploaded (rounded-corner clipped).

Empty frames stay white

Leave any frame empty and it renders as the clean, iconic white square from the source.

Sprocket holes, both edges

Continuous rows of small rectangles along the top and bottom — consistent size and spacing, colour-customisable.

Frame count + orientation

2–5 frames (chips), horizontal (default, per the source) or vertical strips.

Optional AI Polish

One credit restyles the strip — Vintage Film, Cinematic Grunge, Halftone Print — with your photos pasted back pixel-perfect.

Colour chips

Sprocket, frame, and background colours — black/white default high-contrast.

Background scene

Movie-Poster scene chips (city night, desert highway, space…) — render with AI Polish on.

Text, badges & brand

Title + tagline (styles and presets), an editable top-badge list, and a brand sign — all canvas-drawn; styles apply to the polish pass.

Walkthrough

How to use Film Strip

5 (default) down to 2 — only that many frames and photo slots render.

2

Upload your photos

Frame 1 through 5 — fitted exactly as uploaded; empty frames stay white.

3

Style the strip

Orientation (horizontal default), sprocket, frame, and background colours.

4

Optional: AI Polish on

One credit restyles the strip; photos are protected and pasted back.

5

Pick the aspect ratio

16:9 (default) matches the wide horizontal source.

6

Build

Free and instant with polish off → download the PNG.

Tips

Good to know

Free by default. The canvas render costs nothing and is instant — rebuild as often as you like; only the AI polish pass spends a credit.

Photos are centre-cropped to squares. Pick photos whose subject sits near the centre; the pixels are otherwise exactly as uploaded.

AI Polish protects the photos — magenta placeholders keep the AI out of the frames, then the real photos are pasted back into the detected rects (with a canonical-position fallback).
