Calibration Pattern

Precision calibration test cards — monitor, print, and OLED black-level verification patterns, with mix-and-match test elements.

At a glance

Everything you need to know

4 compositions

Comprehensive Calibration, Precision Grayscale & Range, Studio Print & Gamut, OLED Black-Level Test.

Background tone override

Keep the calibrated backdrop, or force pure white / 50% neutral gray (128,128,128) / true RGB (0,0,0) black.

Target resolution

4K (default), 8K, 1440p, or 1080p — stated explicitly in the prompt.

Grayscale elements

16/21/32-step wedges, continuous ramp, near-black shadow blocks, near-white highlight patches — stack any.

Color elements

SMPTE standard bars, 24-patch color checker, CMYK process targets, skin-tone array.

Sharpness targets

Optical resolution wedges, 1-pixel grid arrays, Siemens star focus target.

Pick a composition

Each composition is a fully tuned test card — pick the one that matches what you’re calibrating, then stack modifiers below.

  • Comprehensive CalibrationFull color + grayscale — SMPTE bars, 16-step ramp, focus wedges, color checker.
  • Precision Grayscale & RangeMonochrome dynamic range — 32-step wedge, zone system, micro-contrast grids.
  • Studio Print & GamutPrint verification — CMYK patches, skin tones, non-banding gradients, white bg.
  • OLED Black-Level TestDark mode / HDR — near-black patches, neon primaries, gamut diagram, crosshairs.

Walkthrough

How to use Calibration Pattern

1

Pick a composition

Comprehensive (default), Grayscale & Range, Print & Gamut, or OLED Black-Level.

2

Override the background (optional)

Keep the calibrated backdrop, or force white / 50% gray / true black.

3

Pick the target resolution

4K default — 8K, 1440p, or 1080p for other panels.

4

Stack extra elements

Grayscale wedges, color checkers, sharpness targets — appended to the card.

5

Add extra details (optional)

Free text — e.g. "label each grayscale step with its percentage value".

6

Generate

Aspect ratio (16:9 default) → Generate → download.

Tips

Good to know

No art style or palette — on purpose. Calibration colors (SMPTE bars, 50% gray, near-black steps) are standardized; a stylized test card would be useless. The style is baked: clean vector layout, sharp lines, technical test pattern.

Modifiers are additive. Each composition already contains its tuned elements; the chips add more (“Also include…”). Selecting an element the composition already has simply reinforces it.

The background override only changes the backdrop. The test elements stay — a white background under the OLED card still keeps its near-black shadow patches.

Credit cost — same as a standard generation.
